Internacional Relations Office
Manuel Pérez Cañizares
Our International Relations Office promotes the inter-university co-operation, recognising it’s significance for the increase of the level of education having both the students and the tertiary education institutions in mind. The most important aspect of that co-operation are students exchanges which are a valuable experience and the best way to become familiar with different cultures and languages as well as having an increasing impact on the students academic and later – professional carrer.
The ECTS facilitates to clearly present the principles of study completion in any ECTS member institution.
We offer to our students different kinds of programmes where they can participate, these programmes are: Erasmus Grant (3 month period), International week (a week period), IP (Intensive Programmes, 1-2 weeks) and two programmes in relation with Latin America
It’s common to check that every student who is coming back home (after participating in an international programme) shows a very high level of SATISFACTION. According to the assessments on the Erasmus Programme, nearly 100% of students value their personal experience as excellent and their academic experience as very good. The most positive points they stressed are the coexistence, meeting students from another countries and learning a new language.
CSEU La Salle offers different mobility programmes and gives many facilities (academic and practical ones) to adapt to the needs of students: they can choose a programme for a week (international week), three months, a year… to follow theory or practice… and under the security of being part of a University. That means, for instance, we’ll go to pick the students up to the airport, we’ll manage their accommodation and we are available in case they have any problem during your stay.
The two most important values of the University mobility programmes are: the facilities offered by the Universities and the suitable situation for students– they are about finishing the University but they don’t have a strong work commitment yet -. If students finally decide not to do now, probably they will never do it.
There is something which is sure: it’s a unique experience. It’s impossible to explain it anybody, it’s something that everyone needs to live by oneself.
