INTENSIVE PROGRAMMS
What are they about?
Students and teachers from different countries work together on a particular subject (social skills, peace education, environmental education…) that does not exist in the curriculum of the host University. The objective is to work on a theme from a multicultural perspective.
How long is the programme for?
The programme lasts from 7 to 10 days. These programmes take place in February, March or April.
Where do the programmes take place?
The theme and the place are different depending on the year. As a reference, the La Salle students had the possibility of going to Belgium, Holland, Cyprus and Valencia.
Which are the requirements?
Being a student at the College/University during the present academic year.
Having finished one course of university studies.
Being a citizen of any of the countries which participate in the programme.
Having enough knowledge of the language in which the courses are given at the host University.
Which are the followed criteria to assign the grants?
The student's academic record.
The motivation and knowledge of the language.
The concession of the grant will be provisional; it will be definite when the host University accepts the student.
Is it recognized with a certificate?
Normally, the student gets a certificate from the host University.
Which is the amount of the grant?
The amount will depend on the programme and the host institution. Normally, the accommodation and food is financed by the host institution during the whole period.
