What is an Erasmus student?
 
An Erasmus student is the person who follows part of his/her studies in any associated University under the Erasmus programme frame. The student continues being a pupil from the sending University, where he/she is enrolled and pays the fees.
 
How long is the programme for?
 
The programme lasts between 3 months and a full academic year; it normally takes place from January to March .
 
From where is it possible to come to La Salle?
 
C.S.E.U. La Salle collaborates with Universities from Northern Ireland, Sweden, Belgium, Norway, Italy, Austria, Finland, Portugal, Denmark and Holland. (Check the list of Partner Universities).
 
Are the studies followed at the host University confirmed by the sending University?
 
Yes, these studies are part of the curriculum, through the European Credit Transfer System (ETCS) and they replace subjects required in the sending university curriculum.
The teaching practice normally takes place in the host country.
 
What are the requirements to participate?
Which are the followed criteria to assign the grants?
Which is the amount of the grant?
 
You don't have to pay any course fees to the host educational establishment; you cannot be charged for attending courses, sitting examinations, or for using laboratories and libraries. However, your home educational establishment may continue to charge you enrolment fees while you are away on an exchange. The grants under the ERASMUS program, are designed to cover part of the cost of moving from one country to another (travel, necessary language training, higher cost of living in the country you are moving to). You are entitled to continue to receive in full any grants or loans being paid to you in your home Member State.
